Fresh Produce Advocacy: The Basics

image

Learn more about what's involved in advocating for the causes and concerns of the fresh produce industry. This on-demand training experience helps anyone interested in advocacy do so with greater confidence - so advocates and would-be advocates understand how government works, how to talk to their Members of Congress, and how to represent IFPA's positions on current topics effectively.

The course is also a great way for Washington Conference registrants to prepare for the event - arriving ready to absorb and understand all the things they'll learn.

With content provided by and role-playing videos performed by IFPA Government Relations staff experts, the course provides a great foundation in how government is structured, how bills become laws, how the various parts of government and the Congress work together, and a strong understanding of concepts, terminology, and the ever-present "alphabet soup" of acronyms seen and heard throughout Washington DC at all times.

Don't miss this opportunity to make advocacy part of your professional skillset - essential for engaged IFPA members at any point along our industry's complex supply chain.
